Dryland Training
As most of you already know dryland training can give you a big advantage on the sports field or ice surface, and being in better physical condition at the beginning of the season will definitely help you excel during the year.
Dryland training is open to everyone not just sports teams. There is no prerequisite for this, anyone can attend – all exercises are taught from the basics and progressed afterwards. This type of training will help everyone attain a better fitness level – and most importantly it’s fun!!
Dryland Training with Inertia Fitness is an excellent resource for Developing Hockey Players. At the PeeWee competitive level I found that the improved fitness levels resulted in a noticable improvement in late game performance. Also the gains that were made in Co-Ordination, Agility and Strength can be the beginning of great fitness habits for young athletes. I feel we played better hockey as a result of this program.
